Virtual Annual Meeting May 4
Salem Electric’s Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 4 at 6:00 p.m. As a member, you have a voice in how the co-op is governed. This year’s ballot includes bylaw changes and director elections. To allow members additional time to receive and return their ballot before the meeting, the Board passed an emergency bylaw change allowing ballots to be mailed 30 days prior to the meeting, instead of 20 days as stipulated in Bylaw 3.3 Notice of Meetings.
Ballots must be received by 6:00 p.m. on May 4 to be counted and may be deposited in SE’s payment drop box. Members can register to attend the virtual meeting by emailing their name, service address, and phone number to AnnualMeeting@SalemElectric.com.
