Do you want to be more involved in your cooperative? Consider running for a position as a Director on the Salem Electric Board. Directors support the work of the general manager and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. They serve a three-year term and are encouraged to attend industry-related educational conferences paid for by the cooperative. Responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings, acting as an ambassador for the cooperative, approving Salem Electric’s annual budget, and setting rates.
